The principles of Vastu can be seen in enduring structures around the world – the Greek Parthenon, the Roman Coliseum, the Egyptian Pyramids, The Mayan Pyramids, the Taj Mahal all contain the architectural principles inherent in the science of Vastu. Michael and Robin Mastro are the leaders in the field of Vastu Shastra. Through their vast experience, they have created a unique system that offers the transformative principles of this ancient science to create life-enhancing, built environments that transform the lives of their clients.

Michael is an award-winning designer, past president of Global Construction, and an expert in the art and science of Vastu Shastra. Renowned spiritual teacher, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of Transcendental Meditation, asked Michael, a teacher and practitioner of meditation, to design spiritual centers worldwide for him in the late 1970s. Michael then studied the principles of Vastu Shastra, the ancient Vedic system of placement believed to precede and form the basis of the Chinese are of Feng Shui, and applied them to building living and working environments in harmony with nature. In the process, Michael became the leading Western expert on the art and science of Vastu Shastra. His company designed and built for Microsoft and Boeing and during his career, he built in excess of twenty million square feet of commercial office space and over fifteen thousand residential properties.

Robin’s work in the field of Vastu Shastra took her to Egypt, India, Bali, Mexico, and Europe where she studied ancient concepts of sacred space and Vastu Shastra. She received a master’s in Whole Systems Design, combining systems theory and creative design to develop transformative tools for environmental harmony and personal growth. Robin is dedicated to adapting the wisdom of ancient systems to enhance and uplift how people live in our modern, fast-paced world. She is the writer and designer of all three of the Mastros’ highly acclaimed, award-winning books and works closely on the creation of new products and services to promote healthier, happier lives for their clients worldwide.
