Hi, my name is Jason Prescott, and I’m both the master jeweler and owner of Fairhaven Gold.
Growing up in rural Maine, I was full of wonder, often seeing objects removed from context and daydreaming about their potential: a shaver as a starship, a crystal as a train, or a plant as a skyscraper. Learning the art of silversmithing from my grandfather, I began to focus that ability to see creative possibilities into creating beautiful objects.
I went on to earn a BFA at Maine College of Art deepening my exploration of creativity and beauty. I later honed my craft over years of being a custom jeweler and stone setter in Seattle Washington. Along the way, I discovered the joy of connecting with people and allowing those connections to inspire my creations.
I now work primarily in gold and enjoy working with individuals locally and abroad to create custom jewelry or special objects of beauty, imbued with my clients’ deepest expression of truth or their deepest feelings for another. It is my honor to partner with with so many amazing people to create meaningful, beautiful pieces of art.
