Our private mushroom tours are available throughout the year, including weekdays, Sundays, and Saturdays that don't coincide with our public group tour dates. Thanks to the favorable mushroom-growing conditions in the Pacific Northwest, we can explore nearly year-round.

You have the flexibility to choose between morning tours from 9 AM to 12 PM or afternoon tours from 1 PM to 4 PM. Unlike our public group tours, private tours won't meet at the Tilth Farmers Market. Instead, we'll gather at a carefully scouted tour destination on the south end of Whidbey Island, conveniently located between Clinton and Freeland.

As part of your tour experience, you'll receive informative booklets that you can keep to support and enrich your mushroom knowledge. Following this, we'll dive right into a captivating, information-packed presentation on mushrooms and the art of foraging for them, complete with engaging illustrations.

After the presentation, we'll head into the forest to explore and discover the intriguing world of mushrooms. Along the way, we'll engage in lively conversations about all things mushrooms and whatever else catches our interest.

On private tours, your furry friends are welcome, as dogs are allowed. If you're joining us from Seattle, consider taking the Mukilteo Ferry for a scenic journey to our meeting spot. We're excited to share the wonders of mushroom foraging with you!
